Well written (and very well edited) short tale. Enjoyable blend of sci-fi with horror without overdoing either genre. Nice dig on paperwork!
I did not care for this book, perhaps someone would like it, but I am nor one of them. Sorry.

Awesome story. From the title, I was expecting it to be light, but it was delightfully twisted instead. Sci-fi + horror + romance = perfect. If you are a fan of the macabre, this is for you. I would love to read a novel version of this story.
You know, it's funny because I started picking up Mr. Yates books for the covers. I can read a blurb about a story, and think "maybe yes, maybe no"' But good cover art will get me every time! Thankfully Mr. Yates' books are as good as his cover art. I've never been disappointed by one of his stories yet. Yep, I'd recommend this story and author.
Not bad. A cute little story that combines horror and sci-fi. Personally I would've liked a bit more of the actual horror ~ I knew early on what the deal was with Julia, so I would've liked the author to have played around with that a bit. But the writing was good and I would be interested in seeing more along the same lines.
I just finished this book and I loved it. It was short and to the point. George and Julia are made for each other. She had certain quirks that he had to adjust to and then life was great. There are some twists and turns along the way and it kept my attention all the way through. I'm now off to read another book by this author. I love his twisted mind!!
